Chancellor Livingston Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution

The Chancellor Livingston Chapter of the NSDAR was formed in 1918 by Mrs.
Theodore de Laporte. The Chapter headquarters are located in the General
Montgomery House, the oldest house in the village of Rhinebeck, now listed on
the N.Y.S. Revolutionary War Heritage Trail. The house is
accredited as a Museum and is open to the public Memorial Day, Flag Day, July
4th, the first Saturday in December, and Friday and Saturdays 2-4 June through October. Membership is open
to female descendants of patriots of the American Revolution. Regular meetings
are held each month. Since its founding,
the chapter has been gathering genealogical and historical artifacts and
materials. The items which have been cataloged may be studied by
